Alright dudes.. so just for Priest leveling, this is probably what I have found to be the most effective type, or at least for the current game setup that involves Anubis and trans classes. There isn't really any need to plan on Priest being your final class, as they are the currently fastest class in the game to level. Anyway here goes. Stats. 1 Str -> Not much needed here to be holding items. 70 Agi -> For 199 base flee at 99 with Pantie/Undershirt combo. Enough to 95% Flee Anubis with offensive bless. (PS. I know this is a little bit above the required Anubis flee, but this is to make sure you have adequate flee to be able to use it effectively around level 80.) 55 Vit -> For some extra hp, and to help avoid random deaths from Mino stun, or the random SB hits. [ I don't know the Vit DEF bonus points, but they definitely do exist.] 87 Int -> For SP, and for TU success rate. Each point of Int adds .1 to the success rate, so 1% per 10 points. Int/6 = 1 SP Regen Point, along with SP/100 per 1 point. [ If I'm remembering the numbers correctly.] 46 Dex -> For casting time. 60 total including J50 + Bless is more than enough to handle Anubs. Every 15 Dex reduces cast time by 10%. 13 Luk -> Minor status resist, and also contributes to the success rate of TU the same as Int. 1% per 10 points. Luk/3 = 1% status resist, unless this was changed. Also I believe this no longer applies to all status effects. Also before going into this guide, going to list terms you may or may not know yet, that will be relevant to playing through this section of the class at least. Heal Bomb - using Heal Offensively to kill Undead Property Monsters. Used to level an Acolyte solo. Turn Undead - a skill casted that will one shot an Undead Property Monster. Has a short cast time, but high delay. Low SP cost. The basis of leveling for this build. Higher success rates with higher skill level. Flee - defensive stat used to avoid monsters attacks. Useless vs. magic. Offensive Bless - along with Heal Bombing, this is used against Undead Property creatures, along with those of the Demon Race, which Heal doesn't apply to. Casting Bless on Undead Prop/Demon Race monsters, cuts their Str/Int/Dex in half. This lowers the required Flee greatly, and makes them deal a fair bit less damage. Level 1 Bless is best to use for this, as all levels have the same affect, but the spell gets expensive as the levels go up. /noshift option helps greatly for this, just make sure you don't heal the wrong mobs Status Recovery - when used vs Undead/Demon the same as above. this will cause the Blind Status, further reducing their hit if need be. This one is more useful for supporting in general, as your own flee should be good enough for this. This can also be used on an aggressive monster to make it switch targets, to to make a non aggressive monster that has been attacked go back to being non aggressive. PS. Always keep Blessing/Increase Agility up on yourself once you hit Priest. As an Aco, Agi when you need it and Bless for SP regen bonus, or if it makes it take one less heal to kill something. Stat points distribution while leveling. 9 Int/Vit/Agi to start. 87 Int 70 Agi 13 Luk 25 Vit 46 Dex 55 Vit This leaves you will all of your Int and SP early on. Good to have for tele, and especially if your only option is to solo your way up through Acolyte. The Agi next is to get your flee ASAP. It helps with Removers, and getting to Anubis earlier. 12 Luk is next to round you off to 20, for the 2% bonus to TU. Cheap stat points, and 2% is = to 1 level of Turn Undead, so worthwhile in my own opinion. Skill build is pretty simple. You can cover almost the standard FS build, without KE 10, or dropping whichever skills you prefer. KE is usually one of the first to lower for me, but that's my personal preference. http://web.hc.keio.ac.jp/~fk061999/himeyas...dAhFbdroqnke1mx ; pretty much a standard FS Priest Bar. Note this build lacks both SW and Sanc, as ideally you won't be a Priest very long. You could also call it extra motivation to level faster. This build is NOT made for WoE, purely for leveling. Leave pure WoE builds to the HP's who can do it much more effectively. Gear wise, Pantie and Undershirt for the +10 Flee; +5 Agi combo bonus is all you should really need along with a store bought Arc Wand. As you aren't relying on DEF, but Flee instead, armor is less important. Have friend hunt the set for you, or pick it up if you see it selling for cheap. Sakkat is also a cheap piece that helps slightly, and offers some okay defense. Leveling wise, it totally depends on your method of leveling. Leeching, just follow a standard Mage/Archer path in safe areas. For actually leveling an Aco, work your way up from Skels/Zombies in Payon 1, Orc Zombie/Skel in Orc Dungeon 1. Afterwards, some people prefer Payon 2 for Skel Warrior/Archer, or Payon 3 for Bongun/Munak. For the finishing up Acolyte, GH Prison 1 Zombie Prisoners, Firelocks in Amatsu Dungeon, Evil Druids in GH Churchyard or using Pneuma/Holy Light on Raydric Archers wherever you like. The first two options are usually the safest bets. Ray Archers are a bit hard to find, and Evil Druids take up a lot of SP to be healing through due to their Max HP. When you start Priest, pick up Mag 3 first, then get up to TU. For the rest, pick up whichever you like, catering towards the class you would be most likely to party with. Also with lower Dex, Res 3/4 is probably high on the do pick up list as well. Evil Druids are an easy way to start with getting used to TU, as they move fairly slow and the map isn't too dangerous overall. Once you get near 70, do the quest for the Bio Labs. Quest guides can be found on ratemyserver.net [will place a link at the end to the guides section][ps. if this isn't allowed by GM's or whatever, just remove this section from the post.] The quest leaves you on Floor 2 to start, but tele'ing to either of the side warps will take you to the first floor, where you can tele around and fight Removers. They die easily to TU, and if you can get the Pantie/Undershirt before you get here, you can practice with Offensive blessing and flee'ing them. The best part about flee, is that you can tank in place, which leaves you much less likely to run into other mobs while TU'ing. Once you hit around level 75~ or even earlier if you want, start going to Anubis in Sphinx Dungeon level 4. At least until your flee is higher and you have some Vit, open every fight with an Offensive Bless + Lex Divina until it's silenced, then TU away. Eventually you can get enough hp/flee to avoid the random Sonic Blow and skip Lex Divina, but I wouldn't recommend it till higher levels. Even if the exp loss is small, the time spent getting back to the 4th level of the dungeon gets old quickly. Anyway this is out for now. Simple and probably the easiest way to currently leveling a Priest, at least as far as I have seen. Good luck to all the newcomers out there. Also to http://web.hc.keio.ac.jp/~fk061999/himeyas...ill3/index.html for the skill calculator used there. One of the simplest and easiest to use in my opinion. Special thankseeeeeeeeees Sam for some additional leveling infos. |
